Аргумент исключения ментальной причинности и уровни организации живых объектов

Аннотация
Цель работы – продемонстрировать возможность непротиворечиво принять существование эффективной ментальной причинности в фундаментально физическом мире. Мы полагаем, что понятие причинности в аргументе исключения Дж. Кима против ментальной причинности, подразумевающее генеративную концепцию каузальных отношений, может быть пересмотрено с учетом концепции специфичности многоуровневой организации живых объектов. Отказ от механистической модели причинности как линейного процесса позволяет сохранить приверженность принципу каузальной замкнутости физического мира и в то же время объяснить, как возможна нисходящая причинность макроуровня. Мы используем модель фрактального дерева причинных цепочек Дж. Лоу, в которой ментальная причинность играет роль косвенной причины факта. Содержательное различение причинности фактов и событий мы проводим, прибегая к многоуровневой модели Дж. Эллиса, в которой ментальную причинность можно рассматривать как факт макроуровня, оказывающий селективное влияние на физические события нижележащих уровней с учетом широкого средового контекста.
